SWITZERLAND 3RD AND 4TH WEEK AND JANICE!

I thought it best to start off on a good note, so here is my Jackson, bum and all... this was up at St. Bernard :)  I was going to put this picture on a while ago but forgot.  So anyhow, sorry I didn't blog last Sunday, when Janice came we couldn't get the internet for a few days, and I have been too tired to work on it.  And honestly, I'm not gonna lie, I am a little computer illiterate and I think it takes a little more time for me to put together a post.  Well, we are sad to be leaving Switzerland but so glad to be coming home to Cache Valley and family and friends!  We will be coming home with rounder bellies, but with good experiences... so all in all, it was well worth it!
I had to add in this picture because it was so funny.  We had the great opportunity to go paddle boating with our room mates Matt and Whitney on Lake Geneva, and earlier on in the trip Matt bought this euro suit for nine franks... a steal of a deal.  So of course, Europe wouldn't be Europe if we didn't get a picture of him swimming in his new trunks!
So, this pic is from Zermatt.  The day we went to see the Matterhorn it was cloudy, rainy, and foggy and we were really bummed.  So we actually didn't get to see it, but the town was fun to look through.  Down by one of the churches there is a little cemetery of all the people that have died trying to climb the Matterhorn.  It was really interesting, there were graves as old as 1800's and new as 2006.
This garden is from the Oberhofen Castle on the shores of Lake Thun.  Until this castle we really hadn't seen any gardens and these were really cool.  We did see the Mirabelle Gardens when we went to Salzburg after this, which were really neat as well.
I feel bad that we didn't get more picture of Bern, but we did get the clock downtown, its really cool...
We took a train and a couple of tram rides up to see a little town called Murren.  We hiked around a bit and just enjoyed the alps, this was one of my favorite places and we were lucky enough to come back with Jackson's mom and stay the night at a nice little B&B.
I'm pretty sure that double chin of mine is from all the chocolate, bread and cheese we have been eating!
After we stuffed ourselves with free chocolate samples from the chocolate factory (I'm serious... time was limited and there were so many I didn't get to try them all, but I did manage to make myself sick) we headed up to Greyeres for a while and we were in for a treat, the tour de Suisse was going on, and though we didn't get to see a ton of bikers, we did get some sweet hats for free at the expo.

This guy was in Salzburg... we thought he was kind creepy as you can see because I'm laying on his knee?
The city of Salzburg... drink it in... This is where Jackson served a few months of his mission.
I loved the ice cream in Salzburg! I'm pretty sure we had it twice this day um... before dinner... and after!
We took a tram up to the very top of the Schilthorn!  It was an amazing view, this is just up above Murren, when we came back with Jackson's mom Janice!  We had so much fun while she came and visited, the view was really indescribable... Thanks so much Janice for coming to see us here and taking us to all these beautiful places!  We will see you all when we get back and be looking forward to the 4th of July weekend!

Dang, I'm really jealous. My one regret from college is not going on one of those trips. It looks like so much fun.
